The start of a new school year brings anxiety over changes for students and parents. Parents will have the opportunity to gather with other parents with children the same age and a local counselor to discuss ways to help our students process change and stress in a healthy way. What can parents do to help our children work through anxiety?
6:00-7:15 p.m.—breakout sessions
- Parents of K-4th Grade: led by Carol Langendoen, Modern Sanctuary
- Parents of Tweens: led by Meghan Anderson, Wesley Hall
- Parents of High School: led by Amanda Winburn, Youth Center
- Children: 15 minutes of Yoga Therapy with Tess Johnson (two groups by age) and play time.
