Chris serves as the Lead Pastor at OU.
He has earned a Masters from Candler School of Theology and a Doctorate from Duke Divinity School.
Seeing people discover the life that really is life as they encounter the mercy and hope of Christ afresh and begin the work of aligning their story with God’s story drives him in this role. He loves that the Church is one of the few institutions that works with people “from womb to tomb.” He loves to be part of building up a community of people from every generation and sector (small business owners, educators, politicians, health care providers, attorneys, entrepreneurs, real estate brokers) who are eager to integrate life, faith, and work/school for the common good.
Chris’ hobbies include reading, mountain biking, cooking, and traveling - especially to the mountains! He loves spending quality time with his wife and kids.
