MINISTRIES - CONFIRMATION
Through confirmation, the church renews its commitment to
“make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.”
Confirmation at OUUMC is a three-month journey offered to sixth graders and other youth who have not already joined the church. Every child going through confirmation is assigned an adult mentor. Together they explore the Christian faith by attending classes, field trips, worship services and a retreat at Camp Lake Stephens sponsored by The United Methodist Mississippi Annual Conference.
2013 Confirmation Class
Confirmation Sunday is April 7.
