Children's Sunday School
Our two-year-olds through first graders are studying the Rock Solid curriculum, building a heart of faith. It is about real kids relating to God and one another, reflecting about God’s image in their everyday lives and responding to God’s love through discipleship in Jesus Christ. Through Rock Solid, we are helping our children build life-long faith!
Our second through fifth graders enjoy Power Express Rotation curriculum. With a rotational approach to Sunday School, several teachers present the same story or theme over a four-week period, each using a different teaching method that encourages participation and interaction. The children experience the lesson in a
different genre each week.
Our 6th graders are taught by David Rock Pat Forrester in Room 210. They are studying scripture and preparing for Confirmation classes which begin in January.

First In Serving Him (F.I.S.H.)
5th and 6th graders
Sundays, 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Wesley Hall
It’s time to cast our nets and capture our 5th and 6th graders for F.I.S.H. Help us get our youth fired up about serving others!
F.I.S.H. is a service group that meets Sundays, 5:30-7:30 p.m., in Wesley Hall. We plan to get our hands dirty this year, so kids need to wear work clothes and bring your Bibles! Our projects will include painting, light yard work for shut-ins, and helping with luncheon fundraisers. A light supper will be provided for all our F.I.S.H. kids.
We need parent volunterrs to feed our F.I.S.H. and to help with our work projects. If you would like to help, contact the Children’s Ministries Office, 234-5278 or pforrester@ouumc.org.
